Founded in 1686, this land was purchased by Dutch settlers from the Sepasco Indians. A lovely stone house belonging to one of the original purchasers still stands. Known as “The Kip House”, and at over 300 years old it is the oldest home in the county. Like many other homes in this historic and scenic district, it is listed on the National Historic Registry.
